Alsdat bloods are expensive at PallMall. There is Polish clinic in Eccles, which can do VL+ full blood count+ liver function for £300. I called them last week, as hoping to get Generic Harvoni soon.

Thanks for that Dan. Great find. Here's the clinic's website: private-surgery.eu/I notice on their website that they also have a clinic in Glasgow. Do you know which type of viral load test they do? There are at least three different ones, with differing accuracies. Also, do you know their price for just the viral load test?

Just Viral load is £225. But in combination they give about £30 discount. I'm not sure exactly what VL they do, I thought it is the same as everywhere.

Hi Dan, This explains it better than I can: www.hepatitiscentral.com/hepatitis-c/what-is-viral-load/Even on the test that goes down to the lower vl levels, different labs have different thresholds. Mine went down to 10 or 12 iu/ml. Some only go down to 200 iu/ml. I've seen on the internet, some labs in the USA do the measure down to 5 iu/ml. Obviously, the lower the better for this test.

I can check the type of the VL. The price looks similar to PallMall. I think the saving is on other tests.
